Enlisting a handful of producers that included Babyface, Nellee Hooper, Dallas Austin and Dave 'Jam' Hall, Madonna issued her sixth studio album Bedtime Stories in the fall of 1994. Inspired by contemporary R&B, lead single, "Secret," reached #3 on the U.S. charts while follow-up "Take A Bow," became her biggest stateside hit at the time, spending 7 weeks at #1 in the Spring of 1995. "Bedtime Story" (#42) and "Human Nature" (#46) were the third and fourth singles from the album, hitting #4 and #8, respectively in the U.K.
Bedtime Stories has sold over 7 million copies worldwide to date and earned a nomination for 'Best Pop Album' at the 38th Grammy Awards.
